The Contact Registry is the single authoritative, identity-resolved store of every person and organization the business or nonprofit deals with — subscribers, members, buyers, partners, grantors, grantees, and vendors. One record per person, one per organization, with tags, typed custom fields, consent, and the relationships between them.
It is a System of Record, not a marketing platform: it originates and owns the data, and every other Z2W application reads and writes it through a versioned, per-application key-authenticated REST API — never by direct database access.
This is internal infrastructure with no public sign-up. Access is granted to Z2W applications by issuing a scoped API key. Service health is published at /api/health.
